SBI donates Rs. 51 lakh to Devnar Foundation: State Bank of India (SBI) has donated Rs. 51 lakhs to the Devnar Foundation. This contribution will undoubtedly significantly impact the foundation’s efforts to support their cause. The donated fund will be used for firefighting systems and rooftop solar system installation.

Chairman of the State Bank of India C.S. Setty during his visit to Hyderabad, presided number of events organized by the SBI.  The SBI Chairman handover the cheque of the donation of ₹51 lakh to Dr A Saibaba Goud, Founder of Devnar Foundation, an NGO for the blind. He also inaugurated the tree plantation drive ‘Ek Ped Maa ke Naam’ commitment towards protection of ‘Mother Nature’.

The Devnar Foundation is a charitable organization that likely focuses on visually impaired community development,  their social welfare, or education.

Devnar Foundation for the Blind, Dr. A Saibaba Goud is running a Residential English Medium School for the Blind with strength of around more than 500 children from all over the Country. The Devnar School provides free education along with free board and lodging facilities to blind students from LKG to Gradual Standard who come from all walks of life.

Overall, Devnar School is acclaimed as the best institution for the Visually Challenged in India.
