VOSAP, a leading Indian-American NGO based in Los Angeles, raises $1 Million to support specially abled people in India. The Voice of SAP NGO announced that it has successfully raised over $1 million in funding to support its mission of empowering differently-abled individuals in India.

Voice of SAP raised this fund at its annual fundraiser, held on September 21, 2024. Eminent local philanthropists and dignitaries, volunteers, donors, and VOSAP Igniters attended the event.

As of VOSAP, On this occasion, the Artesia (California) City Council recognized the VOSAP mission with a Certificate of Recognition from Mayor Tony Lima, presented by Pro Tem Mayor Ali Sajjad Taj to VOSAP founders.

This milestone will enable VOSAP to expand its events and services. To provide greater heights and opportunities for individuals with disabilities nationwide.

Pranav Desai, founder of VOSAP summarized the event and said. “We are incredibly grateful for the generous support we have received from our donors, volunteers, and partners. This funding will make a profound difference in the lives of countless individuals with disabilities, empowering them to reach their full potential and contribute meaningfully to society.”

In addition, VOSAP has also explained efforts to promote “Niramaya” initiative of the Government of India, Niramaya program is an initiative to provide healthcare services worth up to Rs. 1 lakh for persons with disabilities and families with intellectually disabled members. Desai noted that the VOSAP is promoting this scheme in social workers to help these families access the available services.
